Porcelain Fused to Metal (PFM) crowns consist of a non-precious or precious alloy coping, with layered porcelain overlay, and are one of the most traditional types of crown and bridge restorations – tried and tested, in terms of strength, reliability and functionality. PFM crowns are a highly versatile option, and can be used for both anterior and posterior restorations of any size or length.

All PFM crowns use dental alloys and the finest feldspathic porcelain systems to ensure aesthetically attractive, natural-looking results.

VITA ENAMIC^®  is comprised of a dominant ceramic network that is strengthened by an integrated polymer network, resulting in a hybrid material that has the positive characteristics of both a ceramic and a composite. It is the first dental hybrid ceramic with a dual network structure.

It provides the elasticity required for minimally invasive restorations; it’s possible to reduce the wall thicknesses,
helping to preserve adjacent healthy tooth tissue/structures, and – from a colour point of view – it can be perfectly integrated into the residual dentition. In addition, this innovative hybrid ceramic has a particularly high load capacity after adhesive bonding.

VITA SUPRINITY^® is the world’s first, new-generation, zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate glass ceramic. It offers excellent translucency, yielding superior aesthetics, and is ideally suited for anterior, posterior and implant crowns, as well as veneers, inlays and onlays.
The innovative glass ceramic is enriched with zirconia (~10% by weight), resulting in a high-strength, zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate (ZLS) ceramic.

Polymethyl methacrylate acrylic (PMMA) milled crowns are an adequate, temporary, fast and reliable way to save chairside time, while the hardness and resistance of the material is perfect for the preparation of provisional pieces, designed for use until a definitive restoration can be made.

Andent’s PMMA crowns are designed using CAD/CAM technology; the material comes in a number of different shades to help you select the appropriate temporary solution for your patient.

IPS e.max^® is an innovative, lithium disilicate glass material that enables the creation of strong, life-like, highly aesthetic, all-ceramic restorations.
The material is highly translucent and very versatile, suitable for use in the creation of many different types of restoration – such as crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers.

Our IPS e.max^® crowns are milled using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology. For specific cases, we also resin print the material and then
traditionally press it into a monolithic form. Because IPS e.max® is a monolithic restoration, there is no need for framework (limiting the need for preparation) and no risk of delaminating of porcelain.

IPS e.max® would be Andent’s recommended choice of material for highly aesthetic single anterior crowns.

Our Laminated Zirconia crowns consist of a zirconia substructure, veneered with porcelain (for aesthetic effect). This option offers all the benefits of zirconia and is very versatile – being a suitable choice for full mouth restorations, as well as individual anterior or posterior crowns or bridges.

Laminated Zirconia crowns are designed and milled on state-of-the-art CAD/CAM systems (ensuring the strength and accuracy of the substructure), highly aesthetic and can be used on all types of restorations.
